Reptiles exhibition in One Utama’s Rain Forest concourse
For the first time, ReptilesMalaysia and Reptiles Adventure Sdn Bhd had joint forces in organising a reptiles exhibition for the purpose of creating civic awareness on the beauty and rarity of these amazing animals. The aim of the exhibition was also to educate visitors on the importance of their responsibilities on keeping exotic animals as pets. There were more than 350 species of animals (from reptiles to invertibrates and other exotic mammals) being displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition was a 7 weeks programme which lasted into the first week of January of 2008.Events Date: December 10, 2007

Dennis Teh and his crew on Channel 2 for a cover on MTS and their Spideys
In the month of October, RTM 2 - Malaysia’s local TV channel had arranged a cover with the Malaysia Tarantula Society (MTS) for the civic awareness of keeping tarantulas and also a more detail understanding of various species suitable for beginners. Dennis, our head of invertibrate department and also as the secretary of MTS was featured on the one hour programme. We think he’s a little camera shy….nonetheless, well done Dennis! We at ReptilesMalaysia hope that through these programmes, the general public will understand more about spiders and learn to appreciate them.
